For the first time, <\/span>Hessen Ideen<\/span><\/em> is awarding dedicated fellowships to female founders \u2014 a milestone for equal opportunity in innovation support. The result: 39% of participants are women \u2014 significantly above the national average. The message is clear: targeted support makes a difference.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Seventeen teams from nine universities are starting the new fellowship round \u2014 more than ever before. Among them: five all-female teams that will benefit not only from financial support (up to \u20ac2,500 per month) but also from tailored mentoring, workshops, and access to an innovation-focused network.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hessen\u2019s Minister of Science, Timon Gremmels, captured it well during the kick-off in Kassel:
\n<\/span>\u201cDiversity is not a side issue \u2014 it is the foundation of true innovation.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u27a1\ufe0f<\/span> The <\/span>Hessen Ideen<\/span><\/em> Fellowship provides space to think and create \u2014 for students and graduates before the official founding of their startup. It offers time, funding, guidance \u2014 and now, finally: equality.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2640\ufe0f The female-led teams are developing ideas in digital healthcare, mental well-being, plant-based innovations, green energy, virtual reality, and access to education. Their projects demonstrate that diversity doesn’t just bring new perspectives \u2014 it brings new solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Among the selected start-up projects are two pioneering ideas from <\/span>Technische Universit\u00e4t Darmstadt<\/span><\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\ud83d\udd39 OptiMigration<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 an AI platform that streamlines immigration processes and reduces administrative workload.
\n<\/span>\ud83d\udd39 PseudoAI<\/strong> \u2013 intelligent pseudonymization for privacy-compliant document management.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
