This was the case for Gabriela Avila, a student in the RMU cooperative Medical Engineering program at TU Darmstadt and Goethe University Frankfurt.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"354\" data-end=\"685\">Living with celiac disease herself, she knows how difficult it can be to find reliable information, safe products, and meaningful support. Through the EXIST Women program, she is now developing an app that offers exactly that to those affected: verified information, curated product recommendations, and a supportive community.<\/p>\n                                                    <\/div>\n                                                                                            \n                                            \n                                            \n                                            \n                                            \n                                        \n                                            \n                                            \n                                            \n                                                                                                                                                                                                <div class=\"col text\">\n                                                        <p data-start=\"119\" data-end=\"518\"><strong>Gabriela<\/strong> is one of 24 participants in the new <strong>\u201cFemale Founder\u201d<\/strong> program, jointly launched for the first time in 2025 by <strong>TU Darmstadt<\/strong>, <strong>Goethe University Frankfurt<\/strong>, and <strong>Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences<\/strong>. Through workshops, mentoring, and cross-university exchange under the guidance of startup advisor <strong>Simone L\u00fchl<\/strong>, the women were supported in exploring and shaping their roles as founders.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"525\" data-end=\"683\">Gabriela\u2019s motivation is clear: she aims to transform a <strong>personal challenge<\/strong> into a solution and advance the healthcare sector through digital innovation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"904\">Her advice: <strong>start small. Test your idea. Seek feedback. Build your network early<\/strong>. This creates clarity and confidence.
