An evening that set new standards: With more than 500 guests from academia, industry, politics and the start-up community in attendance, the FUTURY Summer Festival sent a strong signal about the innovative strength of the Rhine-Main region. Among the guests were Hesse’s Minister for Digital Strategy and Development, Prof. Kristina Sinemus; the President of TU Darmstadt, Prof. Tanja Brühl; and the Vice President for Innovation and International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Thomas Walther. The message is clear: the region stands behind FUTURY. We are all in for start-ups, and together we are moving the region forward.
The region stands behind FUTURY — together for start-ups!
The summer festival showcased what a high-performing innovation ecosystem looks like: connected, focused and ready to act. “We are growing together and shaping the region’s Digital Valley. This evening demonstrates the courage and determination that exists here,” said Harald Holzer of HIGHEST. ‘Kudos to the organisers and to FUTURY for the outstanding work that made this evening possible.’
There was a strong presence from Darmstadt:
Over 50 start-ups were present, including more than 15 from Darmstadt: Aperio Space, AutonomIQ, Biovox, Energy Robotics, Illutherm, Inflabi, MAGNOTHERM, MimoSense, Modulux3D, PanocularAI, Revoltech, Sanctuary, TwinWatt, Vertical Farming, Wingcopter and Zenaris. They exemplify DeepTech and impact solutions ‘Made in Rhine-Main’. (If we have missed any teams from Darmstadt that should be added, please drop us a quick note.)
Moving forward together
The FUTURY Summer Festival was far more than a networking event. It brought together key stakeholders from the region, the nation and, to some extent, internationally, and unleashed a tangible spirit of forward momentum: responsible, human and future-oriented. Hesse stands behind FUTURY. Together, we will make it happen.
