Method for assembly of identical interferometers
Many applications require robust optical methods based on the production of identical interferometers, Examples are Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) based on phase-time entanglement, or white light interferometry of certain OCT methods.

We developed a simple method for assembly and operation of arbitrarily many identical fiber-based Michelson interferometers. In our setup no cost-intensive electro-optic components for phase adjustment are required leading to a time and cost efficient assembly. In short, these interferometers can be manufactured efficiently and many applications become economically feasible.
